Let's start by saying that there is no such thing as the perfect size. Each of us, depending on our height and build as well as our sleeping habits, will have different needs when it comes to bed size.
There is no fixed rule of what the universal size is, but there are various models that differ mainly in width but also in length. The most common are the standard bed, the French bed, and the king size bed. As far as the length of the king size is concerned, it ranges from the standard length of 190 to a maximum of 200 cm, while the width is a good 180 cm, which is absolutely comfortable for two people, even corpulent ones. Obviously you need a lot of space in the bedroom to accommodate a piece of furniture of this size! Remember to leave a passageway at least 50 cm wide.
