MIA, the sideboard
Inspired by the rigorous geometries of classic furniture and the eclectic contamination of art deco, Mia is a sideboard cabinet that plays with volumes and materials to intrigue and surprise, giving character, softness and elegance to the entire environment.
A new concept of living design, developed and manufactured in Italy
The warm lacquered wooden structure is surrounded by natural essences, skillfully worked by the hands of our craftsmen.
The thin metal legs create a strong contrast of volumes with the body of the furniture, which is lifted from the ground to float in mid-air. Only the top, available both in marble and glass, prevents the furniture to hover in the air, containing its geometry to leave an untouched, ideal, floating surface, able to enhance every detail by giving a material and chromatic accent to the composition.
One single element dares to break this harmony: like a tear on a face, a drop of metal furrows the side of the cabinet, digging the wood to crystallize in an abstract geometric design that characterizes and frames the whole piece.
